IU's fourth studio album was released on April 21, 2017. “PALETTE” whose name is attributed to a personal story of the artist where she noted that in her art classes: “the paint palette was more interesting than the art in itself,” offers the perspective of someone in a more mature stage of life, a body of work that tells the story of the search for self-realization.
In this album, IU paints with her own sensitivity the notes of a unique and delicate voice and rhythms that make it impossible to determine its colors and musical limits, allowing her to have total artistic control of her work.
