”LOVE POEM”, IU’s fifth mini album, was released on November 18, 2019 with “Blueming” as its title track. Regarding the album, IU expresses that: “there is no correct answer or option in all literature, but within it, poetry is probably the freest within the limits of interpretation, in this way, as long as it contains the innocence of the artist , in any form, everything is poetically permitted.” In “LOVE POEM” through chords and lyrics, he argues that expressing the fruits of love practiced without hatred, with a single rose, seems more poetic and beautiful than any metaphor about love, therefore, he writes sincere verses as an ode to his entire career, with the hope of living breathing deeply and perceiving the small details that will allow him to determine if the direction he is following is the correct one to walk with his loved ones for as long as he can.
